What does AWANA stand for?
APPROVED WORKMEN ARE NOT ASHAMED
(taken from 2 Timothy 2:15)
Who can attend AWANA?
All children K through 6th grade. These are clubs designed for each age group, Sparks and Truth & Training for boys and girls. As of mid-August, we are not planning on a Cubbies (ages 3 to pre-K). We are focusing our staff on Sparks and T&T.
Will AWANA meet in person?
We will strive to meet in person throughout the year. We will follow Fairborn Local School's policy for wearing masks. If COVID gets too bad, we have the capability to use Microsoft's TEAMS to meet virtually.
Due to staff limitations, please call the Church to see if we have available space.
When does AWANA meet?
Each Sunday night from 5:30pm - 7:00pm during the school year beginning in September and ending in April.
Why should I come to AWANA?
- To learn life-changing Truth from the Bible so you can become a follower of Christ!
- To memorize Scripture verses so you can learn to treasure God and His Word!
- To build good relationships with other children while enjoying an assortment of structured games in our gym!
- To build great relationships with Christian leaders who have a genuine love for God and for children!
