Our church story begins in 1965 when our sister church, Washington Heights Baptist Church saw an old, unoccupied church building on Grand Avenue in Fairborn. In 1966, Grand Avenue Baptist Church was organized and moved into that building.
The church spent 29 years in that historical building. The church outgrew the building in 1989 and purchased the land where the church now sets on Armstrong Road. The new church location took on a new name commemorating its past while looking to the future.
We understand that the church is much more than a building. It consists of people. It is a family that exists to glorify God, reaching others for Christ, and building up Christians in their faith.
As we look to the future, we are excited to see God continue to work as He makes us His kind of church. We look forward to greater growth and ministry as we help people grow in their relationship with Christ as explained in His Word.
